Hibre Biher College was established in 2008 E.C by starting with Diploma programs in Debre Markos Town. The college is committed to providing practical, quality, and relevant education that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for employment, entrepreneurship, and further education.

Overview

Hibre Biher College is found in East Gojjam Zone of the Amhara National Regional State. The college has two campuses located in Debre Markos and Yejubie. The main campus is located in Debre Markos, the capital of East Gojjam Zone, approximately 300 km north of Addis Ababa and 265 km south of Bahir Dar, the capital of the Amhara National Regional State.

Establishment: Hibre Biher College was established in 2008 E.C in Debre Markos Town by starting with Diploma programs. The college later expanded its academic offerings and began offering Degree programs in 2011 E.C. Since its establishment, the college has worked to provide accessible and relevant education that develops students' knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies.

Academic Programs: The college offers undergraduate programs in Agricultural Economics, Plant Science, Business Management, Information Technology, Animal Health, and Accounting and Finance. The college provides these undergraduate programs through both Regular and Continuing Education divisions.

Hibre Biher College was established in Debre Markos town, East Gojjam Zone of the Amhara National Regional State, beginning its educational journey with Diploma programs.

2011 E.C

The college expanded its academic offerings by introducing Degree programs, marking a significant milestone in its institutional growth and academic development.

Campus Expansion

Hibre Biher College expanded its operations by establishing a second campus in Yejubie, increasing access to quality higher education for students across the region.

Academic Development

Hibre Biher College expanded its academic direction by offering undergraduate programs in Agricultural Economics, Plant Science, Business Management, Information Technology, Animal Health, and Accounting and Finance, with provision for both regular and continuing education.
